Caramel Sauce
This is a family favorite! Take your ice cream and cheesecake to another level with this yummy caramel sauce! Kid approved!

- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup xylitol
- 1/4 tsp molasses
- 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 tsp pure Mexican vanilla
- 1/8 tsp THM Caramel Burst Extract
- Pinch of mineral salt
- 1/8 tsp xanthan gum
Instructions
- Melt together on medium low heat, the butter, sweetener, and molasses. Stirring constantly until it bubbles for a bit.
- Reduce heat to low, and while still stirring, add the heavy whipping cream, vanilla, caramel extract, and salt.
- Once well combined shake a bit of xanthan gum into it. Continue to whisk.
- Cool & refrigerate.
Notes
You can substitute the xylitol with 3 TBL Gentle Sweet.
